Is Phantom Blade Zero available in your language?
Steam lists 15 languages, checked on October 22, 2026. Only English and Simplified Chinese have full audio. Everything else is interface and subtitles.
| Language | Audio | Subtitles and interface |
|---|---|---|
| English | yes | yes |
| Simplified Chinese | yes | yes |
| Traditional Chinese | no | yes |
| Japanese | no | yes |
| Korean | no | yes |
| German | no | yes |
| French | no | yes |
| Spanish (Spain) | no | yes |
| Spanish (Latin America) | no | yes |
| Portuguese (Brazil) | no | yes |
| Portuguese (Portugal) | no | yes |
| Italian | no | yes |
| Russian | no | yes |
| Thai | no | yes |
| Vietnamese | no | yes |
| Polish | none | none |
| Turkish | none | none |
| Arabic | none | none |
So if you look for Phantom Blade Zero in German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese or Chinese, you get subtitles and menus in your language, with English or Chinese voices. The official website has the same set of 15 languages (that is the website language, not proof of in-game text, but the lists match).
The Epic Games Store language list could not be read. The list above is from Steam.
Polish and Turkish: what we know
Polish. No Polish subtitles, interface or dubbing. GRYOnline.pl wrote on October 9, 2026 that the game supports 15 languages, "but you will look for Polish among them in vain". Polish players opened Steam threads such as "Where are the Polish subtitles?" (August 19, 2026), and the developers have not answered. Anger is fueled by the price: PLN 299 on Steam is the highest in the world according to SteamDB (GRYOnline.pl and Gram.pl). We found no statement from S-GAME about Polish.
Turkish. The Steam thread "We want Turkish subtitles support in Phantom Blade 0 !! Please !!" has 4204 replies (started December 11, 2025, last posts October 21, 2026). We read all of them: none comes from S-GAME. Turkish forums and media repeated claims that the developers "will add Turkish", based on a fan post on X from January 27, 2026 and a forum report from December 2025. These are second-hand, unconfirmed by S-GAME, and Turkish is still missing from Steam as of October 22, 2026. Players in the thread themselves say the promise is not on the store page.
Do not assume Polish or Turkish is coming. Only the 15 languages on Steam are confirmed.
Dubbing: English and Chinese only
Voices exist in two languages, English and Simplified Chinese. Developer Soulframe Liang wrote in April 2026 that both Chinese and English voice acting have full lip-sync.
- Japanese: subtitles and interface only. Rumors of Japanese voices in a 2024 demo have no source.
- Russian: subtitles yes, dubbing no. Steam players complain in a thread from October 18, 2026, and the developers have not replied.
- German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese: subtitles only.
Players assume you can choose English or Chinese voices separately from subtitles, but this is not officially confirmed. Check the settings after launch.
PS5: language list unconfirmed
On the PlayStation Store the spoken and screen language fields are empty in all 15 regions we checked, including Polish and Turkish ones. There is no official PS5 list, so we cannot say whether it matches Steam. Asian stores add Chinese, English, Korean, Thai and Japanese to the product name, but that labels the Asian version, not the European one.
The store does confirm "Subtitles (Advanced)": all spoken dialogue is subtitled. More on platforms: Phantom Blade Zero on PS5, Steam and other platforms.
How to play without knowing the language
- Turn on English subtitles. Spoken dialogue is fully subtitled on Steam and PS5.
- Check text size. Steam lists "Adjustable Text Size" and "Subtitle Options". Players fear small subtitles (as in Black Myth: Wukong), but nobody has confirmed the size yet.
- Pick the voice. You get English or Chinese, and after launch you can see whether they combine with other subtitle languages.
Release date and edition details are in Phantom Blade Zero: release date, time and preload.
Fan translations
There is no announced fan translation or Turkish patch. The only trace is a volunteer translator in the Turkish thread asking the developers for permission, without a reply. We will check again after launch.
