Who reads AFK Times
- Players who want to know what is coming out. The release calendar, most anticipated games and trending are built from daily Steam data — 2,000 games from the wishlist chart, updated every night.
- Players who are playing and need specific answers. Guides for new releases and online games (e.g. Enshrouded) — with sources and the date they were last checked.
- In nine languages: Polish, English, German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Turkish and Russian. The same content reaches readers in their own language, not only in English.
The site launched in October 2026. We do not publish traffic numbers here — current audience statistics (page views, languages, countries, traffic sources) are available on request. We measure them with our own cookie-free counter, described in our privacy policy.
What we offer
- Clearly labeled sponsored placements — e.g. a box featuring a game or service on the home page, next to the calendar or next to a guide. Always marked “Sponsored” in the reader's language and always kept separate from rankings and data-driven lists — never inside them.
- Partnerships with gaming services — game server hosting, game stores, tools for players. Affiliate links are labeled next to every link and in a notice at the top of the page.
- Guide sponsorship — a “this guide was made possible by…” note with the sponsor's name. The sponsor has no influence on the content or our verdicts; we check facts against sources exactly as we do for every other article.
Each format can be prepared in selected languages or in all nine.
What we never do
- We never sell positions in rankings or in the calendar. The order comes from Steam data only, following the rules in our methodology.
- We never publish unlabeled ads or sponsored texts disguised as regular articles.
- We never write opinions to order — partners do not approve our verdicts or conclusions.
- At the moment we show no banners from ad networks and add no advertiser scripts or cookies.
How we label partnerships
- Affiliate link: an “(affiliate link)” note next to every such link and an explanation at the top of the page. If someone buys through such a link, we earn a commission — the price for the buyer stays the same.
- Sponsored content: a “Sponsored” label and the sponsor's name.
- Paid links carry the
rel="sponsored"attribute, following search engine guidelines.
