Enshrouded Deluxe Edition: what's included and is it worth it

Updated: 8 min read

What the Deluxe Upgrade Pack includes

The pack launched on October 15, 2026, together with version 1.0. It has the same name on Steam and PS5, but the contents are not identical:

ItemSteam (PC)PS5
3 Exclusive Class Outfit Packsyesyes
Digital Artbookyesyes, via an in-game QR code
Embervale High-Res Printable Mapyesyes, via an in-game QR code
Original Soundtrackno, separate add-onyes, via an in-game QR code

Embervale is the land the game takes place in. Players say they got more in game than the description promises: besides the three outfits, also thrones and long banners to hang on walls. Nobody has given an exact number of thrones and banners, and we have not found the outfit names in any source.

Enshrouded has no fixed classes, just one skill tree with branches. The "class" outfits match the look of a warrior, a ranger and a mage, but they unlock nothing. More about the branches: which class to pick at the start.

Deluxe vs standard edition price

On Steam the Deluxe Edition is a bundle of two items: the game plus the Deluxe Upgrade Pack. The bundle has no discount of its own, you pay the sum of both. Until October 29, 2026 the game itself has a launch discount (−10%), the add-on is full price.

Steam, October 17, 2026PolandUSAGermany
Enshrouded (standard)PLN 149.99, on sale PLN 134.99$39.99 ($35.99)€39.99 (€35.99)
Deluxe Upgrade PackPLN 39.99$9.99€9.99
Deluxe Edition bundlePLN 189.98, on sale PLN 174.98$49.98 ($45.98)€49.98 (€45.98)
Original SoundtrackPLN 24.99$7.99€7.99

If you already own the game, buy just the add-on. Steam bundles also let you "complete the set": you pay only for the items you don't own yet.

On PS5 these are two separate editions of the game:

PlayStation Store, October 17, 2026PolandUSAGermany
Standard EditionPLN 179 (with PS Plus PLN 161.10)$39.99 ($35.99)€39.99 (€35.99)
Deluxe EditionPLN 229 (with PS Plus PLN 206.10)$49.99 ($44.99)€49.99 (€44.99)

On PS5 the 10% discount is for PS Plus members only, also until October 29, 2026. In dollars and euros, Deluxe costs $10 / €10 more than Standard on PS5 and $9.99 / €9.99 more on Steam.

Cosmetic or an advantage?

Cosmetic. No store lists weapons, stats or bonuses in the pack. Players describe the outfits as "cosmetic armors", and on the Steam forum they put it plainly: "just some bonus cosmetics and outside game stuff".

Keen Games talked about paid add-ons before launch: "free and paid content, such as expansions, bundles. No pay to win, no battle passes." There is no new story content, biome or boss in Deluxe.

The game has separate cosmetic (vanity) items. They change how you look, while the stats come from the armor you wear underneath. In 1.0 you can use "Equip all as Vanity" on a mannequin to wear a whole set as cosmetics.

One player says the thrones give comfort (Comfort), like other furniture in your base. Nobody has checked whether they give more than furniture you can craft in the game.

How to redeem the Deluxe items

Keen Games has not published instructions. Here is what we know from the game and from players:

  1. Buy the add-on or the bundle. If the DLC does not show up in your library, players suggest restarting the Steam client.
  2. On PC the artbook and map are in the game files, in the Artbook folder. In Steam, right-click the game, choose "Manage", then "Browse local files". One player gives the path C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Enshrouded\Artbook.
  3. The artbook is a PDF file, the map is an image to print. A player who looked for the map in his email did not find it there: the files are in the game folder.
  4. Look for the outfits, thrones and banners in the game. The only add-on button Keen Games has described is Redeem Add-Ons in the Esc menu. According to players it gives you a chest that you place in the world and take the items from. The developers described it for the Early Access rewards, so it is a good first place to check.
  5. On PS5 you get the artbook, map and soundtrack through a QR code that the game shows you.

If the map or the artbook shows up as a blank white page, open the PDF in another program. A player on Steam fixed it with Chrome or Firefox. Hotfix 1.0.0.1 from October 15, 2026 updated the artbook and the map, so update the game first.

Co-op and friends

The add-on changes nothing in multiplayer. Every player needs their own copy of Enshrouded. On PC a world holds up to 16 people, on PS5 up to 8 online with PS Plus, and there is no crossplay between PC and PS5 in 1.0.

Nobody has officially answered whether friends without the add-on can see your Deluxe outfit or whether you can place the thrones in their world. All we know is that the three decorations for Early Access players can be redeemed many times and placed in a friend's world.

On PS5 the add-on works on your primary console and on any other PS5 when you log in with the same account. More about playing on console in our guide Enshrouded on PS5 and Xbox.

PS5: Deluxe Edition on the PlayStation Store

On PS5 the Deluxe Edition has been on the PlayStation Store since launch, next to the Standard Edition. On October 17, 2026 the separate "Deluxe Upgrade Pack" shows as "Not available for purchase" (Poland and USA).

If you play on PS5 and want Deluxe, pick the Deluxe Edition when you buy the game. Right now you cannot add the pack to the Standard Edition later. Keen Games has not said when that will change.

The Enshrouded soundtrack

The "Enshrouded Original Soundtrack" is a separate Steam add-on from February 2, 2024, for $7.99 / €7.99 (PLN 24.99). The music was composed by Alex Röder, Armin Haas and Matthias Wolf.

On Steam the soundtrack is in neither the Deluxe Upgrade Pack nor the Deluxe Edition bundle. On PS5 it is part of the Deluxe Edition. Players noticed the difference, and Deluxe costs almost the same on both platforms (€49.98 on Steam, €49.99 on PS5). Keen Games has not commented. Steam Deluxe plus the soundtrack costs $57.97, or $53.97 with the game's launch discount.

Is the Deluxe Edition worth it?

The add-on has 97 reviews on Steam, 95 of them positive (October 17, 2026). Most buyers say they wanted to support the developers, for example "Don't care much for the contents of the DLC but these devs are goated". Others praise the artbook and the map.

Critics say an artbook and three outfits are not much, and anyone can take a screenshot of the in-game map. The Steam forum also had "10 Euro for nothing? No thanks...".

Buy Deluxe ifStay with the standard edition if
you want to support Keen Gamesyou expect a stronger character or new content
you like outfits and base decorationsyou first want to check that the game runs well for you
you collect artbooks and mapsyou want the soundtrack on PC (a separate purchase)
you play on PS5 and want the soundtrack

On PC you lose nothing by buying just the game first: you can add the pack later. On PS5 it is the other way around, because the separate pack cannot be bought right now. If you are unsure about the game itself, read is Enshrouded 1.0 worth buying, and for prices and changes in 1.0 see Enshrouded 1.0: release date, price and what's new.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Deluxe Edition give an advantage in the game?

No. You get outfits, decorations, an artbook and a map (on PS5 also the soundtrack). Your character's strength depends on regular armor and the skill tree.

Do Early Access players get Deluxe for free?

No. Early Access players instead get version 1.0 at no extra cost and three base decorations redeemed with the Redeem Add-Ons button.

Is the soundtrack included in Deluxe on Steam?

No. You can buy the soundtrack separately for $7.99 / €7.99. The PS5 Deluxe Edition does include it.

Does Deluxe bought on Steam work on PS5?

There is no such information. The game bought on Steam does not give you the PS5 version, and Keen Games has not announced a shared purchase for both platforms.

What we don't know yet

  • The names of the three outfits and the exact number of thrones and banners.
  • Whether the outfits and furniture arrive through Redeem Add-Ons or some other way.
  • Whether co-op friends can see your Deluxe outfit and whether you can place the decorations in their world.
  • When the separate pack returns to sale on PS5 and whether Steam will add the soundtrack to Deluxe.

We will update this article when Keen Games or a future patch makes it clear.
