PoE 2 pinnacle bosses: keys, boss drops, atlas points

Updated: 5 min read

All pinnacle bosses in one table

Act bosses from the campaign have their own guide: Path of Exile 2 bosses. This one covers the endgame only. Level: the first number is the Quest version, the second is the repeatable version.

The wiki also lists Zarokh, the Temporal and The Trialmaster as Ascendancy trial bosses, but they are not atlas bosses.

The old "Difficulty 0–4", splinters at the Realmgate and "8 atlas points per boss" are history. Since 0.5.0 bosses have no difficulty level, and a boss gives 6 points.

How keys work: Quest and repeatable versions

The first time, the game gives you a Quest key that lets you into the fight with unlimited revives. Later fights use tradable keys: 2 revives at most and higher monster level. You gain no experience in pinnacle fights, but you do not lose any when you die either. Source: wiki and the 0.5.0 patch notes.

Arbiter of Ash and Arbiter of Divinity (Fortress)

Arbiter of Ash

  1. Finish your first tower so the Fortress appears on the atlas, then enter The Burning Monolith.
  2. The gate is locked behind three Crisis Fragment keys. On your first visit one of them is already inserted.
  3. The other two are in special maps on both sides of the Monolith. Sources differ here: the wiki says Western and Eastern Enigma Chamber, Mobalytics says Western and Eastern Gateway.
  4. The repeatable fight needs three keys from Citadels (Iron, Copper, Stone), that is, from the endgame versions of Count Geonor, Jamanra and Doryani.

Key drops (wiki, player estimate from versions 0.3.0–0.5.0, 235 runs): Morior Invictus 48%, Prism of Belief 23%, Sacred Flame 12%, plus Solus Ipse, Sine Aequo and Ab Aeterno. The boss also drops the lineage support Arbiter's Ignition. Beating it unlocks Tablet crafting above 2 modifiers.

Arbiter of Divinity: the Origin Core is made from Origin Spark and Origin Cradle in the Precursor Reactor at the base of the Origin Tower. The parts come from sub-bosses in the Enigma Chambers, Matriarch Halls and Patriarch Halls, and later in the game you can buy them on the Currency Exchange.

One unique is guaranteed: The Ordained, Decree of Acuity, Decree of Flight, Decree of Loyalty, Immaculate Adherence or Opportunity. On top of that come the lineage support gems Seraph's Heart, Her Declaration and Arbiter's Reach. The wiki gives no percentages.

Mechanic bosses: Raven Trickster, Xesht, Bodach

  • The Raven Trickster: you get Raven's Reflection after completing the Simulacrum and place it in the mirror at The Withered Hollow. Drops (wiki, 0.5.0, 295 runs): Veilpiercer 35%, Sadist's Mercy 30%, The Auspex 17%, Horror's Flight 10%, The Raven's Flock 5%.
  • Xesht, We That Are One: you use the Breachlord Sac in the Dreamer's chambers in the Monastery of the Keepers. The wiki drops come from version 0.3.0 (143 runs): Beyond Reach 29.5%, Choir of the Storm 17.5%, Xoph's Blood 14%. We have no data for 0.5, so treat them with caution.
  • The Bodach: in Ritual you pick 5 maps (Rite of the Nameless), and the key pieces drop from the final altars. Drops (wiki, 0.5.0, 100 runs): Vestige of Darkness 56%, Forgotten Warden 26%, Sylvan's Effigy 10%, Liminal Coil and Periphery 5% each.

Mechanic bosses: Aberration, Kulemak, Atziri

  • The Aberration: first beat Olroth, Origin of the Fall (on the Obscure Island map in Logbooks), who always drops Shattered Triskelion. You take the restored The Triskelion Reforged to the Verisium Crater. Where exactly you get it, the sources do not settle. Drops (wiki, 0.5.0, no sample size): Venerable Starlit Ore 37%, Warding Starlit Ore 37%, Veridical Starlit Ore 15%, Revered Starlit Ore 8%.
  • Vessel of Kulemak: Kulemak's Invitation drops from Abyss bosses, and since 0.5.0 it always goes to the map owner. After entering the Well of Souls, a Jump In option appears. It always drops Grip of Kulemak. Other uniques from PoE2DB, without percentages: The Master's Reach, The Unborn Lich, Darkness Enthroned, Undying Hate, Tecrod's Revenge.
  • Atziri, the Red Queen: there is no key. In Atziri's Temple you place rooms, reach the Royal Access Chamber and kill the Architect. Atziri's Vault holds one of these uniques: Atziri's Step 35%, Drillneck 32%, Atziri's Splendour 12%, Atziri's Rule 12% (wiki, version 0.4.0, 100 runs).

Atlas points and the dispute over the total

The Fortress gives roughly 335–336 points on the main tree, and bosses are only part of that. Sources differ: Mobalytics (16.06.2026) says 335, while players on Reddit in June 2026 saw a counter of 336. We could not confirm the exact number.

Since version 0.5.5, beating the non-quest Arbiter of Divinity completes the whole Fortress for the map owner. The Quest version no longer does. You can also check boss drops in PoE2DB, covered in our tools list.

Version 1.0 launches on December 11, 2026 with a big balance patch. There is no official information about changes to bosses, keys or loot, so check the list and percentages after launch. More about 1.0: what's new.
