On October 9 the studio published an official release times map (with Steam, PS5 and Xbox logos). The game unlocks at 5:00 PM UTC on October 13, 2026.

- Deluxe adds a major story DLC coming in 2027 plus several cosmetic packs released until then. According to the studio, the DLC is a complete side story outside the main campaign, set in the same world.
- No pre-orders and no early-purchase bonuses. The studio said it wants the finished game "to do the talking".
- On Steam, 10% bundles go live at launch: Valor Mortis with Dishonored, No Rest for the Wicked, MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, Ghostrunner or Ghostrunner 2. If you already own one of them, you can complete the bundle and get Valor Mortis 10% cheaper.
- Prices in other currencies (Brazil, Turkey, Russia) will appear on Steam only after launch — we don't guess them.
Game Pass
Valor Mortis is on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass from day one — on Xbox Series X|S, PC and cloud. Subscribers don't need to buy it separately.

At minimum spec the developer targets 30 FPS at 1080p on Low with upscaling. As of October 12, Steam lists no recommended requirements.
- Steam Deck: as of October 12, Valve has not rated the game's compatibility.
- Full controller support (including DualShock and DualSense), HDR, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing.
Languages
Full audio is English only. Interface and subtitles come in 14 languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Russian, Ukrainian, Korean and Turkish.
There is no French voice-over at launch, even though many players asked for it. On October 9 the studio wrote that it "definitely" wants to add it later, without giving a date.
Game mode and length
- Single-player only — no co-op or multiplayer.
- The studio says the story campaign is about 20 hours. More on length and difficulty options: difficulty and game length.
- New Game+ (a second, harder run keeping your progression and loot) is planned "later this year", after launch.
Who makes it
- Developer: One More Level from Kraków, Poland (Ghostrunner series). Publishers: Lyrical Games and One More Level.
- Revealed at gamescom Opening Night Live in August 2025, public playtest in October 2025, and the Steam Next Fest demo in June 2026 was one of the festival's top demos. The demo was taken down on September 8, 2026.
- Launch moved from September 24 to October 13, 2026 to avoid a crowded September.
- Rated PEGI 18 (ESRB Mature, USK 18) for intense violence, blood and strong language.
